Mumbai: Himesh Reshammiya has collaborated with an international artiste - Romanian musician and performer Edward Maya - who has remixed one of the tracks from the singer-composer's international album "Da Edge".
"Yes, Edward Maya has remixed one of the songs from my international album. The thing is, I am not doing a crossover album or a fusion album or a 'Hinglish' album. 'Da Edge' is a full-fledged English-language album and will be treated on a par with any international music product," said Reshammiya.
Edward Maya is known for international chartbuster "Stereo Love" followed by the equally-successful "Desert Rain".
The remix of track will be released in 122 countries in October and a music video will be shot featuring Reshammiya and Edward by Roman White, who has directed videos for international superstars like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
The album will be released jointly on Himesh's label HR Musik and Universal.
