New Delhi: Hockey India (HI) on Tuesday announced the list of 48 probables for the national camp at the SAI Centre at the Netaji Subash National Institute of Sports in Patiala from October 15. The camp precedes selection of the Indian team for Lanco International Super Series and 34th Men's FIH Champions Trophy in Australia.
The probables were selected by HI Selectors Col. Balbir Singh, BP Govinda and Syed Ali, along with Government Observer Harbinder Singh. Players' performance in the recently concluded Senior Men National Championship in Bangalore was taken into account while selecting the probables and nine reserves.
The Lanco International Super Series is scheduled from November 22 to 25 in Perth, Australia, where England, Australia and Pakistan will be the other teams in fray. The tournament will be followed by the Champions Trophy at the State Netball Hockey Centre in Melbourne from December 1 to 9. Other than the hosts Australia, Belgium, England, India, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand and Pakistan will be competing in the coveted event.

The camp precedes the selection of the Indian team for the Lanco Series and Champions Trophy in Australia.
