Britney’s blues
It almost seems like 'trouble' is Britney Spears' middle name. On a lazy evening in Beverley Hills, Britney, once known as a pop-princess, ran-over a photographer's foot while speeding away from the paparazzi in a parking lot.
By the looks of it, it was just his socks that needed some mending. But it was a close shave for Britney, especially considering her many run-ins with the law, a couple of failed marriages and eventual loss of her children's custody.
Sophia sizzles
Now here's one lady who's as good as gold! Defying age and gravity in those red-heels, 73-year- old legendary actress Sophia Loren strutted down the red carpet at Rome's Film Festival to pickup her special career Acting Award.
Some of her most memorable works include The Millionaires, Lady L and Two Women which also won her an Oscar for Best Actress.
Cate floors Rome
The Rome Film Festival also hosted the premiere of Director Shekhar Kapur's Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
But all eyes were on actress Cate Blanchett - looking resplendent in a black and green gown, all smiles for the hordes of shutterbugs and eager fans. And she surely seemed inspired by her reel-life persona.
"What Elizabeth was a consummate at was diplomacy. So she was an enlightened thinker, so in the age where we are today, where we have really lost sense of the primacy of reason, she was a very reasoned thinker,” said Cate.
But from where we are looking, it looks a case of, 'you rub my back and I'll rub yours!
