Mumbai: The editor of Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna, Sanjay Raut, was arrested by the Mumbai police on Tuesday on charges of rioting, trespassing and assault.
The arrest comes after Shiv Sena activists went on a rampage at Hotel Intercontinental Grand in Mumbai on January 21.
Over 200 Bharatiya Kamgar Sena workers were protesting against the "retrenchment" of 21 Maharashtrian employees.
The employees were fired as they were trying to form a labour union.
They were reportedly sacked without any notice or compensation.
