How to get beautiful for your big day

New Delhi: When there is a wedding coming up there seems to be too much to do and our skin reacts to all that stress.

So how about planning in advance when it comes to your skin just like you would on other thing on “what to do” list? You must think about a consistent skin care routine that is stretched over a period of two to three months.

Skin Care Clinics like Kaya realise that a bride-to-be needs more than an occasional facial to look ready and radiant for the special day.

“The right time to start the pre-bridal package is anywhere two-to four months prior to your wedding,” says a dermatologist at Kaya, Dr Soni Nanda.

Skin care clinics offering pre-bridal make up don't waste time. As soon as the bride-to-be walks in, she fills a detailed form and undergoes a skin analysis.

What follows, is a certified dermatologist then decides on the best package to suit her skin type, while keeping in mind the bride's time constraints.

“It’s just that I heard a lot about this skin care programme. I want my skin to look good on the big day,” says a bride-to-be Rashi.

The bride may have to undergo repeated supervised sessions, and the time constraints need not stop the bride from sneaking in an extra facial just before the fun and frolic of the sangeet or even a memorable dinner with the extended family.
