HP launches the Elitebook 2170p at Rs 69,000 onwards

New Delhi: Hewlett-Packard (HP) has launched a new notebook - the Elitebook 2170p - in India at a starting price of Rs 69,000. The notebook has a 11.6-inch dispaly (measured diagonally), and weighs 1.31 kgs. The notebook is said to offer up to eight hours of battery life. It is claimed to be the smallest and lightest weight Elitebook.

The Elitebook 2170p offers a full-sized keyboard – with optional backlit capabilities. It also features an optional integrated HP Mobile Broadband featuring, allowing for access to the Internet, corporate networks, email and mission-critical information in more places. It is powered by Intel's third-generation ultra-low-voltage processor that enables long battery life.

The Elitebook 2170p also features HP FitTight battery lock that keeps your battery secure even when your notebook is subjected to shock, drops, or side impacts, reducing the risk of jostling or ejecting the battery, and HP DisplaySafe frame that acts as a shock-absorbing barrier and helps protect the display panel from scuffs and scratches caused by shock and vibration.

It is claimed to be compatible with the common docking stations used across the HP business notebook portfolio for maximum efficiency.

The HP Elitebook 2170p is available in India with a starting price of Rs 69,000.
