New Delhi: Huawei is set to bring two more Ascend series smartphones to India this month itself, the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer informed The Mobile Indian. The new phones, called Ascend Y200 and Ascend G300, are based on Android operating system.
Huawei Ascend Y200 is based on Android 2.3 operating system and comes with an 800 Mhz Qualcomm MSM7225A Snapdragon Cortex-A5 processor. It has also an Aderno 200 graphics processing unit with 256 MB RAM.
There is a 3.15 megapixel primary camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB port, upto 32 GB of expandable memory slot, 1250 mAh battery in the Ascend Y200 which comes in a 3.5 inch touchscreen. Looking at the specification, it can be assumed to be priced around Rs 10,000 mark.
The Huawei Ascend G300 is the big brother of the former. It too comes with Android 2.3 but has a 1 Ghz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 inch display and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. It too has Bluetooth, WiFi, micro USB port for connectivity.
Huawei is yet to reveal the prices of these phones.
