Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who made her debut in Salman Khan starer hit 'Dabangg' and then as a leading lady in Akshay Kumar film, 'Rowdy Rathore' is all set to feature in her first Telugu film opposite superstar Mahesh Babu.
The film will be directed by Krish and will be produced by Ashwini Dutt.
Sonakshi is overwhelmed at the support she has been receiving at her Telugu debut and thanked all her supporters. She also expressed joy at her debut in South with Mahesh Babu's film.
An elated Sonakshi says, "I am looking forward to act with Super star Mahesh Babu. Really, I can't refuse the script."
She praised Krish as a capable and intelligent director.
The film has been tentatively titled as 'Shivam' and it is said to be a period film.
It has been Prabhu Deva, by whom the meeting between Krish and Sonakshi about the movie has happened , following which, the movie has been signed by Sonakshi Sinha.
