I can get the fizz back, says Big B

Mumbai: The recent report on pesticides in the soft drink may have taken the fizz out of the colas but the big brand ambassadors of the fizzy drinks remain unfazed.

Incidentally, the biggest cola brand ambassadors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan felt that the cola controversy is not really their social concern.

"This is something that should be worked out between the government agencies and the agencies of the manufacturer," Bachchan said.

Though King Khan is playing the 'Don' he promised to refrain from bootlegging colas in schools.

"I can assure you that lot of people are still drinking Pepsi. It’s not that they aren’t drinking. And if a certain thing for health issues, is banned in the schools the so be it. Nobody will smuggle it inside the schools. I won’t stealthily get them to the schools," Shah Rukh said.

Speaking from his Cadbury experience, Big B even has a tip for the cola companies on how to deal with the issue.

"There’s nothing quite as impressive and quite as important as being honest about the mistake that you’ve made. So, really the best thing is to use me to go in front of the people and tell them, ‘Ok this is a problem, this is a mistake and we’ve rectified it’," he said.

So, the brand ambassador bubble isn’t bursting in a hurry.
