I have not approached Puneeth: Nagabharana

It will definitely be interesting to capture both, well known director TS Nagabharana and power star Puneeth Rajkumar together. The latest buzz was that Puneeth will be acting in a novel based film - 'Thumula', written by Sudhamurthy and to be directed by Nagabharana.

But, looks like we need to wait as the director is yet to approach the power star. When City Express called to confirm with Nagabharana, he said, “I have not even completed my script nor have I approached Puneeth Rajkumar to do the film yet. I don’t know why such things are being written, even before I have made an announcement.”

This director, who has been the recipient of several international, national and state awards is currently working on two scripts. “I have two subjects in mind. One being 'Vasundhara', on which I am currently working. I also have a producer who wants me to direct a film, 'Dalavayi Muddanna', which will be a historical flick. I am yet to decide which one I should take up first. I will talk about my next project as and when I think it is feasible. As of now, I am busy putting in my thoughts,” he said.
