Actor Salman Khan was in the capital to promote his latest movie Yuvraaj and CNN-IBN correspondent Sushant Mehta quizzed him about his new media savvy look and about a possible sequel for Andaz Apna Apna.
CNN-IBN: You have done two musicals,Khamoshi and Janeman both didn’t do well at the box office why did u choose Yuvraaj? .
Salman Khan: I loved Khamoshi, it was critically a well acclaimed film and if you've seen Jaaneman then everyone has loved it. If you see this film I am playing this frustrated chorus singer, , Anil kapoor's performance is par excellence and how we come together and live happily ever after.
CNN-IBN: You have a love and hate relationship with the media, now you gone all out for this movie full publicity?
Salman Khan: Yes. That is because I love the media and the media hates me. You hate somebody because that guy doesn’t come on camera and speak because he doesn’t want to say something and then have misinterpretations to it and eventually wrong stories being cooked up, its been an unfair fight with media.
CNN-IBN: It’s six packs season now, everyone is getting one but you were the one to have it very initially. Whom do you think has the best six pack?
Salman Khan: Subhash ji has impressed me, I haven’t seen something like that we all have sick pack he has one sack.
CNN-IBN: Are you guys doing Andaz apna apna two ?
Salman Khan: Yes we have spoken about it. The script has to be worked out in such a way that it has to be bigger and funnier than the previous one, Aamir is also keen about it and we are waiting for Rajkumar Santoshi to get back to us.
