Mumbai: Harry Baweja's magnum opus Lovestory 2050 starring his debutant son Harman Baweja will hit cinemas this Friday. Our entertainment editor Rajeev Masand spoke to Harman about the film, Priyanka Chopra and much more.

The big day is literally round the corner which is the release of your debut film Lovestory 2050. It is a film that has been in the making for some time now.

CNN-IBN: If you could do anything differently, what would you do?

Harman Baweja: Quite a few things. I would not have done those portions, which we had to re-shoot because of SFX. We would have saved a lot of money and effort. I would have known Kareena would leave the film and I would not have shot with her. I would have finished the film much faster.

CNN-IBN: Did it help that Priyanka and you were seeing each other. Were you upset that she was doing the film as a favour to her boyfriend? Was it upsetting to think like this?

Harman Baweja: To begin with, this whole boyfriend, girlfriend thing is blown out of proportion. I think the day any of us are in a relationship, we would come out in the open and talk about it when we feel that the time is right. As far as the insinuations, I have heard a lot more than that also. I have heard so much in the past. I have almost become immune to it.

CNN-IBN: You are among the few first time actors who did not necessarily wait for his first film to release to start working outside. Was that because you just got tired of waiting?

Harman Baweja: I think it owed more to what was coming my way. There was nothing planned. I was just waiting for a good offer or script to come my way and pounce on it.
