New Delhi: Network18's English news website ibnlive.com has won the best News Website of the Year award at the Indian Digital Media Awards in Mumbai on Thursday.

The website launched in December 2005 gets over 1.5 million hits everyday, and brings you news in text and video format.

It was also the most visited website during the 15th Lok Sabha Elections in 2009.

The visitor to the site gets to interact with CNN-IBN anchors and share his/her views on news stories throughout the day.

One can also read blogs, watch live streaming of news bulletins on the website. IBNLive.com also has a corner for citizen journalists.
