The International Indian Film Academy Awards or IIFA Awards is all set to kick-off in Bangkok on Friday. Urmila Matondkar who's hosting the IIFA Awards ceremony and talks about the awards and the things she dreads as a host.
Paras Tomar: The IIFA weekend is one big Bollywood party isn't it?
Urmila Matondkar: Yes, it absolutely is.
Paras Tomar: Amidst all the fun, does anyone still remember that there are awards associated with IIFA?
Urmila Matondkar: No, it's the awards that trigger off all the excitement and then the venue takes the excitement to another level. And the entire film industry coming together really makes it exciting.
Paras Tomar: Bangkok is one place that is great for shopping, so have you come up with a big shopping list?
Urmila Matondkar: No, I'm incidentally hosting the show, so it's not all fun for me this time. But I think hosting will be fun because I have Boman, Ritesh,Karan all of them with me, so I think it's going to be lots of masti on stage.
Paras Tomar: As a host the weight of the whole world is on your shoulders, so what are the three things you'll absolutely dread while hosting the IIFA Awards ?
Urmila Matondkar: Honestly, as of now there is nothing I'm dreading because I'm really looking forward to it and I'm really looking forward to making sure we rock it.
