Mumbai: The International Indian Film Academy or IIFA awards have a special attraction this year – a special screening of Sanjay Gupta's forthcoming film Acid Factory.
The film stars Fardeen Khan, Manoj Bajpai, Aftab Shivdasani, Irrfan Khan, Danny Denzongpa and Dino Morea and even has a surprise element – the vivacious Diya Mirza.
"Ever since I started working in the Hindi film industry, there has always been a prototype (sic) attached to me; whoever thinks of casting me wants to cast me as either the girl-next-door, the sweet simple and beautiful Diya. I would really like to thank Sanjay Gupta for entrusting me with Max,” Diya gushed.
Though the rest of the film crew was tight-lipped about the film, Manoj Bajpai was willing to talk.
"It’s an action-packed, stylised thriller from the White Feather house. Sometimes Sanjay Gupta likes to make these kind of thrillers with these many men on the posters, on the screen," he explained.
It looks as though it's going to be a three-hour action-packed ride, which by now is almost a trademark of Sanjay Gupta.
