The Departed star Mark Wahlberg doesn't consider himself a sex symbol. The Oscar-nominated actor, who played a porn star in Boogie Nights and used to strip to his underpants when he was a pop star - is always surprised by the attention he receives from his female fans.
"It's ridiculous that people call me a sex symbol. I don't feel like that at all. My daughter would get a kick out of it - she'd find it very funny. I'll take it though. I'm very humble. But it's certainly not the way I feel,” Wahlberg told BANG Showbiz.
The 35-year-old star, who has a three-year-old daughter Ella and a 12-month-old son Michael with his girlfriend Rhea Durham, also insisted fatherhood has changed him for the better.
He confessed he has been arrested more than "20 times" and has experimented with a variety of drugs. "Fatherhood has changed me in every way shape or form, and all for the best,” he said.
