Yorkshire: CNN-IBN's Rohit Khilnani caught up with brand ambassador of the coveted International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in Yorkshire - the Big B - who shared some of his views on Bollywood going the international way.
Rohit Khilnani: We are at Yorkshire station with Amitabh Bachchan. Sir, should we welcome you or would you welcome us?
Amitabh Bachchan: Both I think. I am very happy to see you here. It's great that we are coming together for the IIFA awards. It’s a wonderful occasion celebrating Indian cinema outside of India. The kind of warmth and the welcome that the people of Yorkshire have given us is amazing. I’m very happy to be here.
Rohit Khilnani: I’m sure you are quite used to it. Do you have a clue of how many people are waiting for you out there? And for Abhishek and Aishwarya?
Amitabh Bachchan: Abhishek and Aishwarya are on their way in. There’s a delay in their flight, they are coming in from Paris. But, why just them? The entire film industry, I think, is very happy to be here.
Rohit Khilnani: Lastly, is it a family vacation for you?
Amitabh Bachchan: No, but, IIFA is something that all of us get together for. It’s like a celebration for the entire film industry. Despite living in the same city, we can't meet each other. IIFA is one such occasion when we all get together and meet and interact.
