Mumbai: Bandra, a hip suburb in Mumbai, is all set to roll out the fourth edition of its annual festival "Celebrate Bandra".
Popular Bandraites - Imran Khan, Dino Morea and Diana Hayden - cheered the festival by lending their starry presence to the gala event. In its fourth year, the festival is going with the theme 'Go Green'.
“Taking this kind of initiative is good. Bandra people have been proud of their neighbourhood and I like the fact that they're doing this. They're trying to make it green, reduce pollution, and to me that is the best thing. Besides that they are giving a platform to art, films and music. It is a good thing for emerging talent to get a platform like this,” Imran said.
While Dino said, “We are all proud to be a Bandraites. The best part about it is its cultural diversity. We get to see so many people from all cultures here and it's the best place to live in, I would never leave this place.”
Apart from lending support to local cultural festivals, Imran will soon be seen in the Dharma Productions rom-com called I Hate Love Stories co-staring Sonam Kapoor.
“After doing Kidnap and Luck which were action films back-to-back I really wanted to get back to doing something light. It's been a lot of fun because you get to have fun while working,” Imran said.
