New Delhi: India seem to be faring better on economic front with 70 per cent of India Inc positive that eight-nine per cent growth is achievable, according to the results of a CNN-IBN state of the economy poll.
Seventy per cent are optimistic that economy will grow between 8-9 per cent this year while 20 percent say it will just touch 7 per cent;
10 per cent believe India will see a modest 6 per cent growth.
The same 70 per cent responded that the worst is past us while 30 per cent believe the gloom and doom is far from over.
Just 10 per cent of the people spoke to wants the government to withdraw the stimulus packages while 90 percent of them want good times to continue.
