Protest against the Kudankulam nuclear power plant is growing. One of the fears highlighted by the protesters is the threat of seismological activity on the nuclear power plant.

Most of India falls in the moderate risk to very high risk seismic zones and so do a majority of India's nuclear reactors. The map below plots India's nuclear power plants on a seismic map.
