Moscow: India will occupy the centrestage at the XXII Moscow International Book Fair starting early next month.
The inauguration of the book fair on September 2 will coincide with the five-day state visit of President Pratibha Patil at the invitation of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
As a part of the Year of India in Russia celebrations India would have the central stall at the book fair spreading across a floor space of 1,000 meters, Gennady Kuzminov, spokesman of the organisers said.
The stall would showcase books in English and Indian languages, Kuzminov said, adding a delegation of poets and writers will also participate in the book fair.
