New Delhi: The Indian Army launched its official Twitter account on Friday. The account, which goes by the Twitter handle @adgpi, has already attracted more than a thousand followers.
Army sources said the handle @adgpi has been in the works for some months. The account will now feature all official announcements.
Following the trend, the army will be launching an official Facebook page as well in the coming months. Army sources have also confirmed changes to the their website to make it more user friendly and informative.
