New Delhi: Along with Slumdog Millionaire, one more Indian story has made its way to the Oscars. The only difference being that Smile Pinky is a real story about a girl with a cleft in her upper lip. Pinky will be leaving soon to attend the Oscar ceremony in Los Angeles.
She has got her passport and visa and is all set to attend the Oscars in Los Angeles. The documentary Smile Pinki has been nominated in the Best Documentary category.
“In another four-and-a-half hour we are going for the Oscars. First we will go New York and from there we will go to Los Angeles,” says Pinki’s doctor Dr Subodh Kumar.
“We will go and win the Oscars,” says Pinki’s father Rajendera Sonkar.
Like any other top star Pinki was in mood to entertain the media. Her doctor told us about this sea change in her character.
“She wasn’t a child before but now she behaves like an eight-year-old child. She cries, she plays and she laughs,” says Dr Subodh.
Finally the little star did oblige the media and shared some information about her future plans.
She wants to become a doctor and help others.
