Indian embassy begins enquiries into LSU murders

New Delhi: In the wake of the murder of the two Indian students in Louisiana State University, the Indian Embassy has expressed deep sorrow and instituted enquiries into the case.

The Embassy stated that they had been in touch with LSU since the morning of December 14 and were trying to acquire all the details of the case. K P Pillai from the Consulate General and Alok Pandey from the Embassy are in touch with the university, the police and the Indian-American community in Lousiana.

Late on Thursday night, two doctorate students from Andhra Pradesh, Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma and Kiran Kumar Allam, had been found murdered in an LSU campus apartment when the alarm was raised by Allam's wife.
