Vienna: Police in Vienna say they have arrested an Indian man who fired at officers searching a house linked to last month's attack at a Sikh temple.
Police say no one was injured in the shooting, and officers quickly overpowered the gunman.
Authorities say the man fired at police as they entered one of nine houses that were being searched Monday in the Austrian capital.
Police spokesman Michael Takacs says officials were looking for evidence linking six detained Indian suspects to the May 24 attack.
A Sikh preacher was killed and 15 other people were wounded during the temple rampage in Vienna.
Investigators say fundamentalist Sikhs armed with knives and a handgun attacked lower-caste Sikhs, touching off a brawl.
