New Delhi: The members of 1960 Olympics Indian football team were insulted after the felicitation ceremony at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports Ajay Maken on Thursday apologised to the 1960 football team members for the shabby treatment meted out to them by the organisers.
"I apologise to the football team members who had to pay for their food after the felicitation ceremony," said Maken.
