New DelhiThe Indian Idol three winner, Prashant Tamang is all set to mesmerise his fans with his new debut album Dhanyawad.
Undeterred by the pool of controversy raised by a radio jockey, this new face of the music world was in the Capital to promote his album.
He came, he sang, he conquered and the euphoria never seems to die down for this young enthusiastic singer who is busy focusing on his career ever since he became a face for the Indian Idol.
Prashant seems to be enjoying his new celebrity-hood. “I am living a life which is so different from the life I lived earlier. Friends flock to me for autographs. I pray to God that things remain just like this or should just become better,” says Prashant Tamang.
At this point of time in his career, he thinks it inappropriate to either get embroiled in controversies or even talk about them. Prashant refuses to react or comment on the alleged derogatory comments made by a Delhi based radio jockey on him.
“I don’t want to talk about it. It is not the right time for discussing an issue as controversial as that. I am here for the promotions of my debut album. I want to be clean of all controversies,” says Prashant.
This may be the first time that someone from Darjeeling had won the Indian Idol and this was a good enough reason for Prashant to be happy, and especially on the release of his first ever album.
