New Delhi: Indian Tech community has voiced its concern over US Senate's move to protect American jobs.
IT body Nasscom says, the move sends a strong message that foreign students and workers are not welcome in the US.
It believes however these norms are unlikely to impact the Indian service providers in the short run.
IT major WIPRO too echoed the same sentiment.
“If visa regime is capped it is a matter of great concern and it will be unfortunate,” saya Head, HR, Wipro.
The new amendment seeks to prevent US companies from hiring H1B Visa workers for those companies benefiting from bailout fund.
