New Delhi/ Mumbai: Terror outfit Indian Mujahideen has sent an e-mail to media organisations claiming responsibility for the serial bomb blasts in Delhi on Saturday evening.

Additional Commissioner of Mumbai Police (ATS) Parambir Singh said the terror mail has been traced to an Internet Protocol (IP) address in the eastern suburbs of Mumbai.

An IANS report quoting an unnamed police official said the email was sent from a computer in Flat No. 201 and 202 in Erick House, 16th Road, Cheetah Camp in Chembur. The police were yet to identify the particular computer from which the mail was sent.

On Saturday, when Delhi's market places were crowded with weekend shoppers, six blasts were triggered minutes from each other creating panic in the capital, killing at least 20 people and injuring around 100.

The latest email - "Message of Death" - sent to various media outlets five minutes before the first blast in Gaffar Market and attributed to the Indian Mujahideen says: "Indian Mujahideen strikes back once more within five minutes from now. Do whatever you want to stop us if you can.

Indian Mujahideen had claimed responsibility for the July 26 serial bombings in Ahmedabad that claimed 56 lives. Security agencies believe it is a frontal organisation of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).
