New Delhi: The Indian Mujahideen - jehadi group which claimed responsibility for the recent bomb blasts in Gujarat, has threatened a new round of attacks.
The group sent a new hate mail to all TV channels hinting of more terror attacks in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Citing Quranic verses and warning non-believers, the mail declares that not even a single Mujahid ( person belonging to Indian Mujahideen) has been arrested till date.
The mail also included photographs of cars - claimed to have been used in the Ahmedabad blasts on July 26 when a series of explosions killed over 60 and injured many more.
In their previous mail Indian Mujahideen had warned of five serial blasts before they actually occurred.
The new mail also vigorously defends SIMI and the activists arrested by the Gujarat police in connection with the Ahmedabad blasts.
The police point out that the new mail from the group seems to be an attempt to give a clean chit to SIMI.
Meanwhile, Intelligence sources say, they are tracking the origin of the new mail and have alerted all concerned as they are not taking any chances.
