Click to play videoNew Delhi: In a Shocking incident that occurred on Christmas morning in the United States, an Indian student was shot dead during a robbery in a convenience store in Texas.
The victim has been identified as 22-year old E Jayachandra - a master degree student who was working in the store as a clerk. Jayachandra hailed from Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh.
The shooting was captured on the CCTV camera installed in the store. The police have released the video and are on the lookout for two male suspects - one of them is believed to be in his early 20s.
The family of Jayachandra is in a state of shock and informed that he went to the US only about six months ago in June, 2010 and he had just finished his first semester of his masters programme.
The family is in touch with the Telegu Association in the US and the organisation is trying to help the family to bring back the body of Jayachandra as soon as possible.
