Vadodara: Homai Vyarawalla, first women photographer of the country is eagerly awaiting for delivery of Ratan Tata's small car 'Nano' after she was promised delivery of the car within two months.
The company had offered her to deliver Nano within two months on priority basis after accepting deposits from her about two months ago, the 96-year-old Vyarawalla, told PTI.
"I am yet to hear anything from the company as to when this car will be delivered," she said.
"I was surprised when the Tata car dealer knocked my house about two months ago and conveyed the company's decision of allotting the car to me on a priority basis," she said.
Even the Central Bank official visited her and she deposited Rs 95,000, she said and added that, the bank assured of arranging the remaining funds by them, Vyarawalla said.
She disposed of her 55-year-old Fiat car imported from Italy to a relative hailing from Mumbai, the ace photographer of yesteryear said
