Islamabad: India and Pakistan relations appear to have come down a notch as far as Saturday's newspapers in Pakistan are concerned. The newspapers are leading with news from Israel.
However, further down in the papers, there is some interesting news about ISI passing on details of its own investigation into the Mumbai attacks to the CIA.
The contents of those details have not been revealed, but it is presumable that the CIA will share its probe details with the ISI in due course of time.
There is also some news about US Vice-President-elect Joe Biden's visit to Islamabad on Friday.
Biden spoke with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. He assured them that the incoming Obama administration would support Pakistan's efforts to strengthen democracy and combat terrorism, according to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Biden also said the United States recognises Pakistan's important contribution and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
Finally, there was some information about the the attacks on mainland US emanating from Pakistan's tribal territory.
