Indore: Sixteen-year-old Akansha Jachak, who is seeking an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records, sang non-stop for 61 hours in Indore.

Akansha sang 725 songs old, new and remixes till late on Thursday night in the backdrop of fireworks to seek an entry in the Guinness Book.

“I am very happy that my daughter fulfilled the promise of singing for 61 hours non-stop. I've been always supporting Her,” Akansha’s mother, Megah Jachak says.

Her father, Prashant Jachak is equally happy with his daughter’s performance.

“Daughters in every house should master an art like his and make the nation feel proud,” he said.

Attributing her success to her parents and loved ones, Akanksha said she wanted to take up singing as a career. Akansha was later taken in a procession to Rajwada, a historical monument, where people congratulated her.
