Jammu: In the third such incident within a span of three months, a newly-born baby has been stolen from the SMGS Hospital in Jammu. CCTV camera footage shows a woman taking away the child from the labour room of the hospital.
The hospital authorities have suspended three staff members following the incident and a probe has been ordered.
The child belonged to Mohammad Mushtaq and Sharifa, who hail from Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
The hospital attendants, who had fallen asleep, informed about the matter to the parents after they found the baby missing when they woke up.
