New Delhi: The million rupee question of whether the blue-eyed boy of IT will deliver again has been answered — Q2 earnings of Infosys Technologies have been announced and the company has posted just 1.9 per cent growth in its second quarter numbers at Rs 1,100 crore.
Its consolidated net sales surged by 8.8 per cent to Rs 4,106 crore versus Rs 3,773 crore (QoQ).
According to CNBC-TV18 estimates, its revenues were seen up 8.4 per cent to Rs 4,091.75 crore (Rs 40.91 billion) versus Rs 3,773 crore (Rs 37.73 billion).
Its EBIDTA was expected to go up 13.3 per cent to 1228.4 crore (Rs 12.28 billion) from Rs 1,084 crore (Rs 10.84 billion)
The company's net profit was seen up 2.4 per cent to Rs 1,104.7 crore (Rs 11.04 billion) as against Rs 1,079 crore (Rs 10.79 billion).
Infosys Guidance
The company is expected to report revenue of Rs 4,238-4,258 crore in the third quarter of FY08, which implies 3.2-3.7 per cent growth over second quarter numbers and EPS of Rs 20.11, which shows growth of 4.46 per cent QoQ.
It is likely to post revenues of Rs 16,588-16,648 crore for FY08, which implies jump of 19.4 per cent - 19.8 per cent over FY07 and EPS at Rs 79.49-79.88, which shows growth of 15-15.5 per cent versus FY07.
