New Delhi: Stars replacing other stars is quite common in the film industry. But this is a first of its kind.
Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, who was slated to make an appearance in a devotional film is not going to make his acting debut afterall.
And replacing him is, none other than south superstar Rajinikanth
Tendulkar was all set to shoot for an aarti scene in the film Vignaharta Shri Siddhivinayak directed by Yashwant Ingavale.
But now that the cricketer has opted out of the film owing to a knee injury, the film's makers are planning to rope in Tamil superstar and legend Rajnikant to shoot the scene in question.
In fact, the film, also starring Ajay Devgan and Kajol, is almost complete and now just this scene involving the tamil matinee idol is scheduled to be shot after September 14.
