Rome: Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti confirmed on Monday that the club has made a 25-million Euros bid for Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez.
The Nerazzurri are back in the race to sign the exiled Argentine international after agreeing to personal terms with the player earlier before suddenly withdrawing their bid.
"There are no secrets in football," the oil baron was quoted as saying by Xinhua. "The offer is 25 million Euros. Now it is up to City whether they accept that bid or not."
Inter are not the only club chasing Tevez, as PSG have shown an interest, and Moratti added, "However, I do think that there are a number of other clubs who are interested in him. There are some English sides and also French club Paris Saint-Germain."
The San Siro outfit beat Serie A champions Milan 1-0 in a derby match on Sunday to continue their charge up the table, but Moratti said: "At this moment in time it seems that we don't need Tevez, but football gives a different answer on a daily basis. I would keep all of the players that are in the squad right now, but there is still time until the transfer window closes. We'll wait and see."
Earlier, AC Milan withdrew from talks to sign the 27-year-old Tevez on Thursday after Alexandre Pato declined to join PSG. Milan had already agreed personal terms with the player, but were forced to pull out of negotiations with City.
Tevez has not played for City since the win against Birmingham on September 21. The striker has been in exile since his refusal to take field in Manchester City's defeat to German giants Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League group stages.
