New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals player Ankeet Chavan, who was suspended amidst the IPL spot-fixing scandal, surrendered before the designated court in Saket on Thursday. Chavan has been sent to judicial custody till June 18.
Ankeet has been sent to Tihar Jail where the other two accused players Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila are being held.
He also moved a fresh bail plea which will come up for hearing on Friday.
Ankeet had been granted conditional bail by a Delhi court till June 6 for his wedding.
