Aggarwal appeared before the TN CB-CID today. The police said they have learnt that Aggarwal was in close contact with arrested bookie Kitty and that he used his hotel Radisson Blu as a location to place bets.
"Further enquiry has revealed that Aggarwal had details of pitch conditions, among other information. So now we have decided to place him under arrest," Venkatraman said.
