Chennai Super Kings fan club launched

Chennai: Chennai is known to go crazy over actors, actresses and even politicians and now the city has launched a fan club for its own Twenty20 cricket team, the Chennai Super Kings.

"After a very successful IPL, we thought we should do something more, I went for all the matches and the response Chennai Super Kings got was tremendous. It has a big fan base in and outside Chennai,” says Brand Ambassador, Chennai Super Kings, K Srikkanth.

With a membership fee of Rs 1000, the Kings Club promises a variety of benefits including discounts on tickets, team merchandise, invites to practice sessions and much more.

"We are also looking for matches at the district level and school level we hope a lot of talent will emerge out of this," Executive President, The India Cements Limited TS Raghupathy

After a very successful first season in the IPL, the Chennai Super Kings team is all set with its official fan club.

And with the team being a part of the upcoming Twenty20 Champions League, the club is looking forward to make the most of the golden opportunity.
