Mahela Jayawardene's hamstring injury incurred during his match-winning effort in the last game kept the Sri Lankan player out of the Kings XI Punjab's line-up against the Mumbai Indians at the Super Sport Park in Centurion on Tuesday. Luke Pomersbach replaced Jayawardene.
Ramesh Powar was also kept out as Punjab went with a extra batsman in the form of Karan Goel.
Mumbai brought in medium pacer Rohan Raje in place of leg-spinner Chetanya Nanda.
