Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan has broken his silence on the IPL betting and spot-fixing scandal. While speaking to national daily Hindustan times, Shah Rukh said that it is undignified for owners to misuse rules.

"I think as a team owner one should not indulge in all these practices even if you are a betting person by nature. If you're an owner, you're aware of all the rules and the loopholes and it's undignified to misuse them," said the superstar.

The IPL has suffered a crippling blow after spot-fixing and betting allegations against many cricketers and team owners surfaced.
