Following the incident the British authorities have summoned Iran's ambassador in London.
British authorities are demanding the immediate release of their sailors. However there has been no statement by Iran on the whole issue.
Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett summoned the Iranian ambassador over the incident, which comes amid mounting tension between the Islamic republic and the West over Tehran's nuclear plans, reported AFP.
