New Delhi: "Iran has won against the world." That's how Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reacted to a new US intelligence report which downgrades Tehran's nuclear threat.
In a televised speech in western Iran, Ahmadinejad said the report "was a victory for the Iranian nation in the nuclear issue against all international powers".
He also insisted that Iran would not roll back its nuclear programme.
The US intelligence report said that Iran had stopped its military nuclear programme in 2003, while just one month ago, US President George W Bush had said Iran's nuclear weapons programme could lead to World War 3.
But like Iran, the US has also stayed defiant, refusing to rule out a military attack on Iran and vowing to press for tougher UN sanctions.
