Irrfan plays a funny guy again in Dil Kabbadi

Mumbai: After films like Krazy 4, Slumdog Millionaire and Chamku, actor Irrfan Khan is finally back with an out and out comedy flick Dil Kabaddi.

Irrfan Khan plays the funny guy once again in Dil Kabbadi. this movie is a remake of Woody Allen's Husbands and Wives.

This small budget rib-tickler sees Irrfan play ‘Samit’ who succumbs to the seven year itch.

“They are having a problem in their relationship, which I think every couple goes through somewhere or the other. They are not getting enough physicality in their relationship. So he is trying hard to deal with this issue and he doesn't know how to do it,” says Irrfan.

Irrfan is riding high with international acclaim following The Namesake, A Mighty Heart and Slumdog Millionaire and of course Irrfan was also the chosen one to play the lead in Shah Rukh Khan's home production Billoo Barber. So how does this livewire actor select his projects.

“When I read the role, I should have the feeling, oh it would be fun to do this. Just not fun, but it should engage me. I haven't done this so I would love to do this. So that's the thing,’ explains Irrfan.

Dil Kabaddi also features Rahul Bose, Konkona Sen Sharma and Soha Ali Khan in key roles and is scheduled to release on the December 5.
