The grapevine in Chennai is abuzz with the rumour that Nayanatara has been offered a cameo by Mani Ratnam. Kadhal, starring Gautham (Karthik's son) and Tulasi (Radha's daughter), the film is currently on the floors. Already Arjun and Aravind Swamy are part of the cast. Our own Lakshmi Prasanna has a role in the movie.
The news cannot be confirmed. More so because rumours relating to Mani Ratnam's cast and crew are the norm. There were instances when an entire film remained a rumour!
The film has music by AR Rehman. Cinematography is by Rajeev Menon. Mani Ratnam is co-writing the script along with Jeymohan. He is producing it on Madras Talkies.
