The deceased hailed from Ranchi in Jharkhand and was working as a marketing researcher in Infosys Technologies Ltd in South Delhi's Green Park.

"The incident came to our notice at around 10 pm on Saturday through a PCR call made by one of the neighbours who saw him hanging with a ceiling fan at his first floor room," said a police official.
He said after receiving the call, a police team went to his place and rushed him to AIIMS where he was declared dead.
The official said the landlord of the victim had gone out with his family when the incident took place.
"Prima-facie we feel personal or professional problem could be the reason for him taking the extreme step," police said adding his friends and colleagues are being questioned. Further investigation into the matter was on.
