    Hyderabad: The son of Software professional working in a top IT company was kidnapped by some persons at Hitech city in Hyderabad on Tuesday night.

    Police said three-year-old Rohit Reddy, son of Ravinder Reddy, who works in Cognizant Software Company was abducted by unknown persons.

    The boy was abducted from a playground, located beside the apartments where the family was residing.

    Noticing the boy was playing in the ground, a person jumped the wall of the playground and picked him. Later the boy was taken away in a Qualis car.

    The boy's mother was working in Satyam computers as a software engineer. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

    So far, the parents have not received phone call from the abductors. Police suspect that the boy was kidnapped for extortion of money.
