Hollywood star Heather Graham who showed off her funny side in such films as Bowfinger and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, plays a lovable stripper in Hangover. CNN-IBN Entertainment Editor met with her in Las Vegas recently and spoke to her about how she approaches comedy and also about the Bollywood item song she performed in her 2003 film The Guru.

Rajeev Masand: Heather Graham welcome to show.

Heather Graham: Thank you for having me.

Rajeev Masand: Heather was it difficult to make this movie in Vegas? There are lots of distractions and it's a place throbbing with people. Was it easy to navigate through all of that and make this movie comfortably?

Heather Graham: We actually attempted to gamble but I didn't gamble much luckily. I think it was a lot of fun this way. I actually think it worked more being in Vegas. It was fun, laughing all the times at all the jokes.

Rajeev Masand: Do you have a favourite Vegas story?

Heather Graham: Well my favourite Vegas story is that they had this cast and crew poker tournament and it was like about a 100 people and I came in fourth place. I was pretty excited about that. So I kicked a** of a lot of people.

Rajeev Masand: When you do a movie like this when the line between funny and gross is fairly thin, how do you know how much is just enough?

Heather Graham: I guess you can only do what you are comfortable with and I guess you have to sort of trust the director, look at his previous work and I don't know, but yeah it's kind of hard. But this movie has a certain sweetness in the fact of the relationship and the friendship between the guys. So I guess you can sort of use the sweetness to make the gross stuff not as gross.

Rajeev Masand: What are the three things that you have got to take when you go to Vegas?

Heather Graham: I guess an Advil, a blackjack chi-chi with which you play blackjack basically. It's really kind of cool. And uh what else...I don't know.

Rajeev Masand: Some of your co-stars in this film - and I know you didn't work with all of them - are Mike Tyson, a tiger and a baby. Who was the most difficult to work with?

Heather Graham: I didn't have to work with the tiger thankfully. I think that's kind of scary, but I think working with a baby is extremely difficult. The baby was so cute but a baby doesn't do anything you want so it's just like the whole day is around the baby which is kind of fun, but then 17 hours later you are like 'oh'.

Rajeev Masand: What is the best cure for hangover then?

Heather Graham: The best cure is I think before you go to bed, you have to drink a lot of water and take Advil.

Rajeev Masand: You even did an almost Bollywood movie, The Guru. What was that like, did you enjoy the whole song and dance routine?

Heather Graham: Oh it was the best. I mean it's so much fun that you get to do that. I mean where else in America would you get to see these songs and do a Bollywood dance number? That was incredibly fun.

Rajeev Masand: You have been to India. Tell us a little bit about your experiences there.

Heather Graham: I went to Delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Mumbai and Kerala and it's just so beautiful.

Rajeev Masand: Thank you so much for talking to us.

Heather Graham: Thank you.
